State Highway 2, Waiohiki is currently closed heading north near the roundabout with State Highway 50 following a crash.
The single vehicle crash was reported just before 1pm.
No injuries have been reported, however the road will remain closed for some time while the crash is cleared.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
Detours are in place.
