Police and other emergency services are at a crash on Briggs Road Shirley in Christchurch.
The crash occurred at about 9.30am, whereby a car is reported to have crashed into a stationary car.
Two people have serious injuries.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and there are diversions in place.
