Waerenga Road is closed following a serious crash this afternoon in Te Kauwhata.
Police were called to a two-vehicle crash on Waerenga Road at around 3pm.
One person is in a serious condition and another person has received moderate injuries.
The road is closed while the Serious Crash Unit conduct a scene examination.
Diversions are in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect delays.
