Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of the Appleby Highway and McShane Road, Appleby.
Police were called about 12.50pm.
Initial indications are there have been serious injuries.
The road will be closed, with diversions in place.
Motorists, please avoid the area if possible.
