Police can now release the name of the man who died following a crash on State Highway 1, Wairakei on Saturday 19 July.
He was Travis Edward Simmonds, 53, of Napier.
Police extend sympathies to Travis’s family and friends.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
